I will add my bank when Wesabe starts to support CSV file upload. I don't know why it's taking so long to support the cleanest and worlwide CSV file format.

My (UK) bank doesn't do any kind of exporting of data. I even asked them specifically. Useless.

Does anyone know of a list or set of reviews which will help me to find a bank that's more suited to letting me get hold of my own data?

I'd like to use it on Wesabe, but I'm also after a bank that 'gets it' when it comes to the web. Any ideas?

Thanks :-)

But still no csv import :( That's what's stopping me using wesabe, as most UK banks don't do OFX or QFX. It's been "coming soon" now for an awful long time.

[...] Wheaties for Your Wallet » Blog Archive » New feature: Add your own bank to Wesabe We’ve launched another great new feature tonight: if your bank or credit card isn’t listed as supported in Wesabe, you can add it yourself in under a minute. Why wait months for someone else to decide if they want to help you with your money or not, when you can be up and running in minutes? [...]

What I really like about this feature is that I get a lot of calls from people who want to add a bank, and what I always used to have to tell them was: "send an email to support, and we'll happily add your bank / credit union." Repeat. It was a very limited sort of conversation. - we were talking process not result.

"Add a bank" (or credit union) allows people to more quickly get to a great result, and that is very good news for the whole Wesabe community.
