- Couple Learn the High Price of Easy Credit – New York Times – Good article in the NY Times on credit card debt and the decline of savings. The chart showing the national savings rate, declining from almost 12% in the early 80s to about -1% now, is sobering.
- How To Beat The Stock Market: Buy Companies With High Customer Satisfaction Scores – Consumerist – It makes sense intuitively that companies with happy customers do better than the rest. What I want to know is why that’s not already built into market prices, and not already incentive enough for companies to focus on it.
