• Conventional Napalm: Wesabe Export Downloader - Wesabe user Charlie Groves came up with a script to automatically download our XML export format for doing more analysis on your data. Nice!
• From Apple, a Welcome Reminder - David Pogue’s blog post on how Apple helps consumers remember to use gift cards. I would also say that Apple rebate program is the best I’ve seen. If your business is built on “breakage,” take a lesson.
• 10 Things I Hate About Finances - Great list. We’re adding a feature request for each one.
• Whose money is it? - Another article from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution — this one about how withdrawals come out of your bank account very quickly, but deposits take forever to clear.
• Consumer Guide: Fighting Back - Via Consumerist, a great guide to pursuing complaints as a consumer — from the AARP!
• Manage own money, yet pay bank fee: Charge to download data through Quicken, Microsoft Money likely to irk consumers. - Fees that banks charge for downloading data are irritating consumers. Interesting to see this in the press.
• Credit Union Fee Income - Swivel - Jesse Robbins from Black Rock Federal put together this great chart of fees charged by credit unions.
