I saw ‘Maxed Out’, the documentary about debt, at the seattle film fest this year. It was quite good. The callousness of some debt collectors and lenders was shocking whereas interviews with those ‘in over their head’ were really heartbreaking. The movie definitely pulls at the heartstrings but also does a great job pointing out how widespread these issues are.
